The World Gymnastic Championships will be coming to The O2 in October 2009. This will be the first time the event has ever been held in the capital and a welcome return to the UK after a decade away. Beijing 2008 showed the huge potential and talent of Great Britain’s gymnasts and put interest in gymnastics at an all time high. Gymnastics and The O2 celebrate the World Gymnastic Championships imminent on
sale date with a special event at The O2. Olympic medal winners Louis Smith,
Beth Tweddle, Daniel Keating and Becky Downie will all be at a public press
conference at The O2 followed by displays from Bromley Valley and Greenwich
Crossways Gymnastics Clubs. The event will take place from midday until 2pm on
October 1.
